Car Park Exhaust / Fresh Air Systems

Effective car park ventilation to protect health and safety
Effective ventilation in car parks is essential to remove harmful exhaust fumes and maintain safe air quality. Whether through natural airflow or mechanical systems, Coral Fire ensures your space meets safety standards and performs at its best.
We design, install, and maintain car park ventilation systems that suit your building’s needs – from simple setups to complex, multi-level sites requiring advanced fan configurations.
How it works
There are two main types of car park ventilation systems:
Naturally Ventilated:
These systems rely on natural airflow to move contaminated air out and fresh air in. This method is only viable in car parks that meet specific design criteria for natural ventilation.
Mechanically Ventilated
Fans and ductwork are used to extract exhaust fumes and bring in fresh air, ensuring consistent airflow and compliance in enclosed or partially enclosed spaces.
In some cases, additional jet fans are installed to help move air through the space more efficiently, especially in larger or more complex car park layouts.

Why it matters
clean air
Removes harmful carbon monoxide and vehicle exhaust fumes

Supports compliance with Australian Standards and local council requirements
safety
Improves safety and air quality for building occupants and visitors
Adaptable Systems
Tailored solutions for new builds or retrofits
trust
Ongoing testing, calibration and maintenance options available
Other System Types We Offer
Stair Pressurisation
Stair pressurisation systems maintain smoke-free escape routes during fires, ensuring safe evacuation, compliance, and reliable building safety performance.
Mechanical Ventilation inc Smoke Clearance
Coral Fire designs and maintains mechanical ventilation systems for smoke clearance, enhancing visibility, safe evacuation, and fire safety compliance.
